Toyo Model UN Virtual Conference 4.0 will have two (2) house committees for the conference itself. These house committees are:
THE WORLD FOOD PROGRAM (WFP)
The World Food Programme is an international organization within the United Nations framework that caters food assistance globally. It is the world's largest humanitarian organization and the leading provider of school meals. Founded in 1961, WFP is headquartered in Rome and has offices in 80 countries.
THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COUNCIL (ECOSOC)
The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, which coordinates the economic and social realms of the organization, specifically with regards to the fifteen specialized agencies, the eight functional commissions, and the five regional commissions under its jurisdiction.
ECOSOC serves as the central arena for discussing international economic and social issues, and developing policy recommendations addressed to member states and the United Nations System. ECOSOC has 54 members. The headquarters are located in New York City, United States and Geneva, Switzerland.
These two (2) house committees will be simultaneously conducted on two (2) different conference rooms. Delegations or state members vary from house committees. This means that there is no equal number of delegates per house committee. Detailed information regarding these two house committees will soon be released.
